It's a Friday morning and you're sitting in the corner of a quiet Panera, flipping through a magazine... maybe a tabloid. You only skim it for the pictures of the celebrities, of course, because the stories are always the same. Suddenly you come across a picture that you swear you've seen a hundred times; it's Paris in a one-of-a-kind vintage Chanel, posing for the paparazzi, grasping her Louis clutch in one hand and her crackberry in the other. You chuckle, but not too much, because you look down at your own Blackberry and even though you know that a dress like Paris Hilton's will never see the inside of your closet, you know that you're important enough to be able to communicate with the world on the same exact cell phone as a celebrity.

There are hundreds of new trends in technology that have recently added to the number of tasks you can accomplish and the amount of information you can reach while sitting in the corner of a Panera on your cell phone; maybe even more if you're using a PDA. Who cares about the free WiFi? Some places even charge you a fee to log on to the internet using their establishment's wireless connection. A feel Joke's on them - nowadays, nearly everyone's cell phone has the capability to connect to the internet from anywhere. If I wanted to carry a bulky and burdensome laptop wherever I went, I would've trapped myself back in 2002 when wireless was new and fresh. Well friend, its 2007 - the cellular phone that meets all of your needs is definitely where it's at.

So now that we've agreed on the fact that you're nobody without your cell phone - maybe a cell phone that is just as cool as Paris Hilton's - next step is to take a good hard look at that glorious piece of vibrating metal sitting in your pocket. Is it covered in the rhinestone adhesives you strategically placed all over its casing last year? Oh no, you've surely upgraded since then. Maybe you went with a sleek new Razr that didn't need any glitz or glam because back in November when you put your name on the waiting list and finally got the last color of your choice, you decided the chic design spoke for itself.

Well it's been 7 months since then and the casing has been tossed and scratched from the Coach key chain dangling off your set of keys. Sometimes it falls; you can't help it. Well it looks like your loveable Razr deserves a new faceplate to spruce it up a bit, to help you forget about the 2-year plan you've repetitively locked yourself into, and to make you feel like you've upgraded all over again.

Maybe you're more of a practical PDA user and you want to cover it in a protective silicone skin. To the flashy, the sensible, and the person who just needs a fresh little change every now and again; you are in luck. The newest trends in cell phone holders, protectors, chargers, faceplates, and a wide variety of little gadgets can now be found on the internet, and let's face it, you can probably reach the internet in 30 seconds from that splendid little cell phone that you're desiring to enhance, sitting in the corner of a Panera. Take that, Paris Hilton and $0.30 per minute WiFi! Nowadays, keeping up with the newest cell phone technology and accessories is as easy as Username, Password, click.
