There are several different pay per click search engines now, but the three most popular are called Google Adwords, Yahoo Search Marketing, and MSN Adcenter. The Google search engine is bigger than both Yahoo and MSN combined, which means that Google Adwords getS substantially more traffic than either of their closest competitors. There are many smaller pay per click advertisers such as Seven Search, Kanoodle, ask.com and many, many more, however, these are nowhere near as effective as the big three are. Also, they're not nearly as secure, with many complaints of click fraud happening on all of these smaller search engines. Therefore, your best bet is to learn as much as you can about advertising on Google Adwords before you even consider setting up your campaign.

There are many people on the Internet that claim to be pay per click experts, however, there are only actually a handful of individuals that actively market their services and materials that are genuine pay per click experts. There are several private companies and individuals that you can hire, but you should be very wary of who you give your money to for this kind of service. If you do hire someone you need to make certain that they are on a set budget and stick within the constraints of that budget. I highly recommend that you learn how to do it yourself, even before you hire out. That way at least you are in a better position when talking to one of these unknown "experts".
